Just installed my Becker Europa 2 and am running into a few issues. AM does not pick up any channels while the FM seems to work fine. Also, when I turn the unit off I can still hear the radio at very low volume. Any ideas as to resolve these issues?

On a good note I am using a DIN IPOD adapter that works fine through the system in Stereo, only thing is that when not in use sound from the radio only comes through one speaker.

Good FM but no AM could be an antenna issue. FM frequencies do not need much of an antenna length while AM frequencies require the length of the
mast. Check the connectivity between the radio and the antenna all the way
to the mast (both ends of the coax cable).

Do you turn the unit off by pressing the knob or by rotating the knob counter clock wise? If the latter it could be that the switch part of the potentiometer is
broken.
