I suspect it depends on the condition of the drivetrain.

Proximity to badly neglected cars can cost you down the road. I had to call my shrink after I saw the drivers seat in the ad for that car.

Thanks for the info on the car. I saw it come up and figured it might be a desirable engine/trans for the future of my underpowered coupe. I'm going to put a new set of Webers on her since I'm having lots of problems with the ones that came on the car.

Austin is competing with Dante's 8th ring of hell for heat! We did get some rain but never enough.

Don, after I have everything sorted out I'm going to drive her to your shop for an engine and rear-end swap :-)

Also, still having a little problem with the rear of the car- despite replacing everything, and I mean everything I still get an exaggerated "dipping" feeling when I take hard right turns at moderate speed. Left turns are very smooth and stiff. Has anyone experienced defective shocks, or possibly weak springs from Bilstein or Carl? Not bashing either, but sometimes things happen in manufacturing.

Could the rear alignment create this sensation, I welded in IE's toe/camber adjusters and the shop that did the work may have screwed up. Not bashing them either but sometimes things happen.

That sounds like it could be a toe out on the right rear.
Take it in and share the alignment numbers with us?
