I have acquired a box of fuel sender units when i needed to replace mine (broken cables, rusted out)
besides getting what i needed, I am now also the proud owner of some unidentified objects taking up floor space.
anyone able to identify them?
#1 is a short 195 mm, E9 style but different fuel sender unit. It's close to images google produced for E30 but they all are slightly different (angle of tube exiting) date stamped 12/'81. E30-isch?
#2 and 3 are VDO, 372 mm long, stamped " 21 186 12 65" the other "21 186 2 66". Both NOS. One has a label with PN 6216 8682 053 a logical BMW number, but nowwhere was i able to find any info with this number. The black date stamp is identical to date stamps on other VDO products , and "12 6.." can be read suggesting it was produced in the 1960's.
Once identified they'll move into the Parts-for sale section with asking price.
