Three weeks ago after much research and reflection I decided to put a new breather apparatus on Great White, my 1973 Chamonix 3.0cs coupe. Your comments on Pierce Manifolds in Gilroy,CA were good and an internet order was placed. While putting on the carbs the kit was short a 8mm Accelerator actuator rod and I have been trying to get them to send one by express for just under a week. These things cannot be so rare that they are not available? But finding one and getting on the coupe has made a "turn Key" job into a parts sourcing nightmare.
My advice: Although it goes against the grain, count out everything in the kit first and see what is missing, then track it down before you tear it all down and suffer where I am at now .....coupe conversion never never land, just advice from a weary converter who hasn't lost sight of the long term pleasure but is questioning the gain right now.
