Steve, if you can't find another one (which also probably will be in questionable condition), wouldn't it be better to have someone upgrade the one you have with new components inside?
It was just a thought that popped in to my mind. Without any real knowledge I'd guess it's fairly easy for someone who knows what they're doing?
There is a rebuilt one on eBay for $185 so that is an option but I prefer to not drop that much cash on something I don't use very often, but it bugs me when something doesn't work in my car so was hoping to throw another one in there. Becker Autosound rebuilt my radio and they did an amazing job so maybe that's an option. Also I have to mod the inside of it to work with my power amp anyway so not looking for one that I would feel bad about molesting for my use.
It's a Europa Stereo, dated 1971/72, it's original to the car. I don't have access to it now as it is installed. I'll look for a pic of the tag. Thanks.
