Anyone have good photos of parts and assembly of the center console?
1972 with AC and radio
I found several threads on this but all the photos are ruined, thanks photo bucket

Found a couple running through my project folder, can snap new ones if you need me too. Both cars are at project phase.
Torn apart stuff is from a 70, assembled car is a 74.

do you mean the center upper grille
if so the ac panels have screws holes on the side the hold the center grille section
u can see them in the above photo right by the spaeaker

thanks Alan, I have the 2 sides and have the aluminum trim back on
I have measurements for the wood blocks, but other than that I am not sure what parts hold the 2 haves together and what holds the face plate on

The side panels have a hole, hidden when the side grilles are installed, that uses a long slotted head machine screw to the heater panel. My 73 has no hole at the bottom of the side panels although some coupes do. Once the large screw is installed I tighten up the two sheet metal screws on each side. There is also a bracket at the firewall on the evaporator box.

these cars are so easy to fix, simple materials, Wood, metal, leather,... got this central gear shift console from ebay just remove nails, and peel off the covering the problem is that bits from the Wood came off too, a pity, wood was partially dissintegrating, so i ahd some of the shapes...
