Anyone know this car, Tod B? Duane? Mario?

what exactly would a "pea bubble" be on a 35 thousand dollar car?

Saw this in BMWCCA. Looks interesting, but for 70k in receipts it ought to have a proper toolkit.

Scott,
$70k divided by 35 years is $2k a year. That's not far off normal.

Plus, it's all too easy to spend $20k on a bad paint job (one that looks good to an amateur for 4-5 years). If you paid a shop to repair your 4 window motors, it could easily $500 to $1000. Imagine the cost if you paid a good mechanic to take care of every little thing for 4 decades.

Tool kits shouldn't be an indicator of the quality of work unless this car is fresh from a 2 year job at Paul Russell's with the goal of winning the CCA national concours.
