My son saw this E9 in San Francisco. Any one know the owner?

Indeed Polish. The font style doesn't match the Dutch style. Also, the black letters on yellow background do exist in NL, but Dutch cars of this age should have (when registered correctly...) blue plates with white letters.

Indeed, a yellow one.
I first saw an E9 in San Francisco. Before that, I didn't know they existed.
My wife and I both worked in San Francisco for many years. Her daily was a 2002 back in the 80's and we both remember seeing a dark blue 3.0cs that was parked in front of city hall regularly. Wanted one ever since...

Funny Story. My son literally just just got married at SF City Hall and he has his priories right....he sends me this picture! We had gone to the restaurant to set up the dinner and he was with his very new bride when he sent me these pictures. Good news is his new wife knows he is a car guy and I am sure did not mind he was gazing at the beautiful E9 instead of his wife

This very same CSI was being serviced at Phaedraus BMW (independent shop) late last year. Snapped a few pics of it along with a few other E9s.
