I'm interested in possibly buying an engine to have shipped to Los Angeles and with the amount of fraud going on in Craigslist I wanted to know if anyone lives in the area to go physically check if it actually does exist. Lancaster in England.

Rarely come up for sale here in the US and when they do asking prices are ridiculous.
Not to throw you a curve, but is there something special or rare about the engine you seek? Another approach might be to post a WTB notice.
