Anyone out there know where to find a Getrag 280/5??

I own an E9 but also have a E24 M6 and need to find a Getrag 280 tranny either rebuilt or have mine rebuilt and/or a good used one (ha ha ha). More specifically on the East Coast. Thank you

Send your trans to Jim Blanton and have it rebuilt, he's the guy who developed use of the tapered bearing mod as a replacement to the old factory balls in races, and once your trans is built you will have NO future surprises. In my mind, thats WELL WORTH just doing and being done with it. Here's his web address:
