Anyone recognize this air filter box?

the first one is an e12 / e28 airbox on the near side of the engine compartment attached to some kind of airbox to feed the webers. the 2nd pic is obviously a D-jet airbox. the e12 / 28 box is also used in other BMW for L-jet and motronic. they are very easy to find.
Steve, i am really curious what the other side looks like. does the brake booster fit or did they do something different. this is a nice looking installation of getting cooler air to the webers.
First pic is an e3, strange they choose a valve cover where the oil cap is hidden by the intake ppie.
I think maybe that valve cover has the mounts for the air filter to be secured
