Well, not much feedback about Arde, so I thought I had to chime in.
Arde does not sell much, so do not expect posts about how great his merchandise was. But he is a buyer.
And without buyers there would be no sellers.

Happy 5th Arde and keep it up!

Signed,

Arde

Careful Arde. Posting positive comments about your self may get you labeled a Jerk. And we know what happens next.

Note Bene! Arde never was, is not, and never will be a Jerk. Will I be labeled a Jerk for my use of a dead language? Latin.

Steve

absolutely okay to add levity, as long as we aren't using humor to belittle someone, their car or ideas ... it then becomes a slippery slope. one has to be careful with the idea of self-grandizing ... you could be compared to a few political figures ... and that would go south in a hurry. i, on the other hand, am happy to have no feedback (or little feedback) ... whether selling or buying. i prefer to go about my business rather quietly ... waves / ripples are not my preference. i read Arde's post and found it humorous, not in any bad taste and had the ability to offend nobody.

Well, it mirrors a phase of my life that if I do not promote myself nobody will, for example, a week ago I reverse seared this T-bone steak, it came out so perfect that I had to praise myself during the meal, as nobody was.
On a separate topic I will not touch, the word "jerk" is said to come from charqui, a Spanish term of Quechua origin for dried meat. I prefer my reverse seared T-bone!
