I know this is a very general question and might not be easily answered. I am wondering if anyone knows if , and what the differences are between the Mercedes Carbs and the Zentihs for the BMW 3.0?
I see a lot more Mercedes carbs around and was wondering if they interchange. I have 32/36 Webers now and I want to find a pair of Zeniths

Thanks

Some of the most useful Zenith INAT web pages are in German and for the Mercedes versions. I use Chrome so the instructions are for that browser.

Go here:
https://www.strichacht-forum.de/knowhow-v2/index.php?title=Motor#Benzinmotor and then Ctrl-F, enter "Zenith" and the first 5 hits on that page will be 5 super useful pages. Chrome translates on the fly so no problem reading them. And for the PDFs there are PDF translators but what I do is then view them with the iOS Google translate app camera feature where you can view a real time translation. This translation is not as good as the online web-based translation and usually awkward to read but gets you the basic understanding.

The Opel Commodore Zenith pages are also very useful and illustrate what some unused sections of the BMW Zenith versions are used for in other cars. Notably, the mysterious empty 'tower' and componentry next to it that is later converted to the 'chimney'.
