Are the rocker (sill) covers still available?

The decorative aluminium piece .
I'm looking for a set.
 
If its the plastic strip with the chrome inlay along the outside of the car then the answer is no.

I purchased a set from W&N and the metal started to degrade. W&N did the decent thing and offered a refund, but could not supply replacements.
 
I bought a set brand new from ECSTuning about a year ago. Probably NLA by now.

It appears maybe the new stuff, Right is the same as left? If true, if you can buy RIGHTs still, buy two?
 
i believe they are on back order and have been for 6 months or so ... which means that they are probably going NLA. i just checked getbmwparts and it says discontinued product for both sides. glad i have a brand new pair in the box. with the ridiculous price of the pair on ebay ... who knows this could be a good retirement plan ... maybe 1000 for the pair by the end of the year. doesn't matter as they aren't for sale as they are going onto my coupe.

there is so little difference between the right and left that BMW came to the conclusion that you could put the trim on either side.

Thanks Rob, Just ordered from ECSTuning...:) Ordered online it accepted my order , so they might just have some in stock.

Fingers crossed. Often ecstuning will take your money and a couple months later you get an email that it's nla If it happens, check Ebay.de too for nos examples.
