Other than having the steering wheel on the wrong side it looks pretty good. You should inspect all of the rust prone areas to see if there is anything more serious than the surface rust. I would be afraid to run a CS without a rear bumper.

Readie - get off the pc and drive it !

Nice ! I think the fjord blue gives CSs a real classic look.

Is the plan to restore as standard or make some mods ?

My verona red CSL looks in similar condition although without the all-important MOT. I'll almost certainly keep it standard as the restoration progresses, with a spring MOT date still the goal ( funds permitting)

Readie,

it looks great - how long was it laid up for?

How is it going? I imagine every drive helps it to settle down more?

Regards,

ROhan

thanks guys, the car was laid up for about 5 years, some of which under cover and some not, so the pictures make it look better than it actually is !

the plan is to keep it as original as posibble but improving where I can and when it will not detract from value so any mods wil need to be reveresed easily.

probably enjoy it as it is through next summer and then put it into a specialsit boidy shop for a full stripdown, acid dip and rebuild.
