In the company of Drew from Houston (and places beyond) we had the privilege of hosting the Red Bull crew for dinner the night before the race. The amount of detail that goes into the planning is unbelievable. For the race day my "future hack" daughter and I winged it and found parking on a lady's front lawn for 20 bucks, scalped a couple of tickets and a workers wrist band. For better or worse my daughter seems to be a pretty good con artist (wonder where she gets that from), but she wiggled us into the movie-star section, private bar etc. We got there 40 minutes before the race and we were having Pizza a mile from her moms house in North Austin 45 minutes after the race. Drew noticed the privateer lawn parking marketeers the day before and mentioned them to me so the that's where I got the courage to blow by the crowds of lemmings and look for the crack houses. (those folks can be really resourceful). Anyhow I have a couple of pictures and really just wanted to brag a little. Thanks for indulging me.
And, 100,000 of our closest friends
And finally- couldn't resist, I told her I was sorry it was so loud and I forgot ear plugs; she said "I LIKE it!"
