Does anyone know of a parting out E9 in So. Cal?

I now have my transmission with bell housing, shifter mechanism, & drive shaft.

I know I need the following and have found these sources:

1) brake and clutch pedal - looking now.
2) interior boot for manual shifter - $295 from Coupe King
(http://www.coupeking.com/product_id-503.html)
3) Clutch master cylinder - full kit for $106.50 from Mesa Performance.
4) Clutch slave cylinder - $304 from Mesa Performance.

Can anyone help identify what else I need and where best to source it? Or, any better suggestions than those I've found above?

I really appreciate the help.

Matt

The Coupeking part for $295 is a lot more than just the boot - see photo below.

You might try calling LaJolla Independent, and see what they would charge for used pedals and the boot/console parts - they part out coupes with some regularity, so they must get these. Of course, they also perform automatic to manual conversions in-house, so they may use all of these parts themselves.

Mesa Hose at 670 W 17th Street there in Costa Mesa will make up custom flex hoses fairly inexpensively. Just bring in the parts you want to mate, so they can measure the threads.

Will be buying one of these console things early next week from Coupeking. Would you expect the quality to be first rate as I have never dealt with this company but the guy I emailed seemed very helpful.

I'm pretty sure I have a pedal bucket

Matt, I parted out a 2800CS nearly 20 years ago and am pretty sure I have a full pedal bucket. It would be in the basement at my mother's house where it and other parts were put (my mother clearly deserves sainthood). Give me a shout at 617-365-8303 if you're interested enough for me to dig it out.

Coupeking shift console or a parted out one? Your opinion please

Fellow Auto to 5speed converters, do you think the Coupeking part is worth the extra money at $295 vs. a parted out console and boot at around $200?

Advice welcome.

thank you
Matt

confirm that is new

i would confirm with peter/erik that the boot and center piece you would be getting are new - my pal just had them do the auto-to-5sp conversion, and they put in a used piece, that has a few small scratches/holes. i was surprised by this.
