Bat at auction with coys in uk this saturday. Guide of $96k - 116k.

I might head along for the hell of it.

Where I used to work, that statement would've signed you up as the person responsible for archiving sales. ;-) Are you volunteering?

well she went to £39k and didnt make reserve which was at £40k judging by the auctioneer's comments.

I was surprised at the car as there was a good bit of stuff that didnt look right and could have been made so easily in the detail department. It also had a repro rear wing and something wrong with the roof hoop centre support. Bodily though it was a good car and thats what matters. There was a 16% buyers premium so the £39k bidder would have paid up £45k.

was the auction well attended and did stuff, besides the BMW sell? I had a rummage through the lot list and there was some very scary suggested prices!

Hey Malc,

there were no other bmws. There were three people bidding on the bat though. Some stuff went big money but a lot didnt sell.
