Hello everyone. I've been lurking around this site for a few years and decided to finally do a quick introduction in support of the surviving E3's.

This car isn't new to some of you as it's the old Pete [FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva]Schoenenberger Bav prior to his purchase of his E9 many years ago. I've owned it for 3.5 years and prior to that, my good friend had it.

Some highlights: m30b34 3.5 Motronic, D'sylva EAT chip, 5-speed w/ short shift, 3.45 LSD, springs/bilsteins, 16x8 e38 wheels, 3-row Silicon Garage radiator, custom made CSL air dam to fit the E3 by MrGlass, etc

It doesn't look nearly as good in person as it does in pictures. It definitely has its paint flaws, but the car's complete. I've driven it 20k mi in the last 3 years, so it is a driver.

Hi Tim.

Thanks for checking in. I think I have you beat in the paint flaws and patina department, but otherwise your's is one fine E3.

Great cars!

Looks very cool (no comment on the steering wheel...) and as far as the finish is concerned, imho its about the driving, not the shows...
