I have 16" BBS RS wheels on my coupe. They are in good shape overall, but I have noticed some dings in the mesh portion of a couple of the wheels. Not sure if it is rock damage or sloppy wrench work by a tire shop, but the result is some bright aluminum marks in the dull silver finish. I was thinking some gentle filing to remove the sharp edges, followed by a shot of silver paint, would be the cure, but the color has to match the plastic lug cover perfectly. Does anyone know the exact silver used by BBS?

I think there were few color options but I'm sure there are some "Wheel Experts" here.

Even if the color (by number) be the same it will differ probably due to aging on current one.

I would recommend to go to professional paint shop and ask for chromatograph or experiment based color selection.

Dohn,

This guy is well know for his BBS wheel work.
Many use him and he does great work.
He put new barrels in my rears to make them 8" instead of 7.

Paul Ehrlich is his name.
Tell him I sent you.

"plastic lug cover"?

Man, go find yourself the uber rare metal ones (or get the aftermarket ones) and get the centers and faces blasted and powdercoated all at once.
