Today morning I replaced my BBS Style 5 wheels with my oem and must say the difference is like night and day. The car rode so harsh with the BBS wheels and felt like I was driving a car with lowered suspension done the wrong way. The ride was just so rough compared to oem with a few more rattles than the car would normally have. I have my BBS wheels for sale now so I guess I am shooting myself in the foot by this post but I felt the need to share this piece of info. I just don't think our cars were meant to be driven with 45 series tires. I must say the car looks so much tamer and almost weak with the stock wheels but hopefully that will change when I upgrade with one of the few options I have stashed in my garage. Two are 14" being my Alpina and Exim mesh wheels and I am considering my 16" Alpina clones.

Might be the tires?

I went from 16" Alpina's with "ultra high performance" Conti all seasons to 17" BBS with Michelin Super Sports (summer compound) and if anything the ride improved.

My guess is to get the "Ultra" out of all season the side walls are obscenely stiffer than the summer tires side walls without making any compromises to winter in tread pattern or compound.

Love the Style 5's and I would have gone that route if then was now.
