Value is in the parts that are so hard to find elsewhere - especially interior/trim stuff, even getting them all refinished you'll still be ahead cost and especially time wise. A few years ago I had to find a full Euro e9 interior since the interior that was promised with the car sale of course never existed - and there was nothing there, fully stripped to the metal. At least the original ECU box and CSi harness were intact and functioning correctly.. Found a rusty, non running coupe in NoCal, and the interior was full Euro, tattered but it was all there - velour sests, roll down windows, etc. Cost $3000 for the full car and while I barked at the time I feel like a genius now. Just time alone tracking down a full interior (and I mean everything!) would take an ungodly amount of time - best to get it all in one car.
