Beautiful Steering wheel on Ebay

When I sold my first coupe, a rusty parts car, I didn't know much about the cars then. About two months after selling it I realized that the steering wheel on it was a sport style just like the one in the auction. The kid who bought the car barely knew anything about cars or BMW's but I never asked him about it afterwards. Oh well.
 
I was thinking I could pick up a nice one for $350-400. Guess I missed that train.
 
so its only 3/4" bigger. hardly bus territory. the petri wheel is wonderful ... the csl wheel was leather ... the 40cm wheel is rubberized
 
I'll be selling my mint one in the near future (40cm) and it fits the cabin nicely. Smaller than original bus wheel as RS says.

In a nutshell, the wood rim and the Petri-like drilled spokes. The Petri is better for aggressive driving because the rim is a little thicker and the wheel has a bit more mass. I still really love its classic looks, but probably should sell to offset my ridiculously costly triple Weber project. At least that's what I am telling my wife!
