I haven’t dedicated much time to work on my 2800cs lately and with the looming 2002 show and swap coming up I decided to not only take the 2800 to the event; but also freshen her up a bit. The event is primarily a 2002 event; but they also have a section for other bmws of that era.

I haven’t ventured further than 25 or so miles since purchasing the car; so this 110 mile each way drive was a big deal. My focus was really on the wheels. Media blasting and painting. It’s surprising what a little love will do for the general look of the car.

The skywriting didn’t last long with all the wind. Why did t I see your CSL there? I was in charge of parking for that section

Lol.. Yea the wind was intense. CSL is on my sh*t list. I don't talk to her much anymore. She's zero fun and I don't enjoy 5000 piece puzzles...

She does nothing which is the problem. I like driving my cars and if they don't do that they get relegated to my crap list until I feel like investing more time.

Hi Mike. What paint did you use? Rattle can or gun? Color?

Wurth silver wheel paint part #0893339108 I media blasted the wheels then sprayed. I did warm up the wheels and the paint in the sun.
