I won't keep peppering this fine board with self-promotion, but I must admit that I can't stop smiling about this.

Bentley Publishers has put out an official press release announcing my book.

Click on my name to drill into the "author blurb" page, and on the title to see a book blurb. There's a "keep me notified" button where you can sign up for release info, and a link to my October "Roundel" article where I told the story of how the book deal was 18 years in the making.

"Das Coupe" features prominently in the book, with several long chapters covering its purchase and outer body restoration.

BTW--my health has diminished to the point I can no longer drive the BLUMAX so the mileage bar is now set in place and I can no longer add to it.

You have and continue to meet the formidable challenges of E-9 ownership in MA that would ordinarily diminish ones zeal for the marque due its known corrosion vulnerability in that climate and all that comes with it--but not "The Hack Mechanic". Keep your flame burning!!

After surviving corrosion conditions delivered in the states of Missouri, Michigan (11 years) and New Jersey, I discovered a kinder and more gentle place for E9 care and--SoCal.
