For race cars, no, there are few more beautiful than the CSLs.
I am not falling for this one. Although I could have used the cruel line of the wife that wanted something that goes from 0 to 160 in 2 seconds...

Reminds me of the Chevy Chase joke. A couple checks into a sketchy hotel with a mirror on the ceiling. Etched on the mirror are the words, "Objects in mirror are larger than they appear."

Not with my LS 914!
The guy that bought my Bavaria has a V8 in his 914 and loves it....his beast!
To pick nits, this may be one of the most beautiful production based race cars.
but For my tastes, when we start talking about purpose built race cars, I could rattle off dozens of equally or more beautiful , starting with 250GTO, P330, W154, 300SLR, 250SWB, DB1, DB3, Lotus 11, TZ/TZ2, T33, 917, XKC, XKD, 904, 550, 917, kEagle Mk1, D50, 8C35, 328MM, 8C2900B etc
