Maybe they should have said the manual windows operate 4 to 5 times faster than the optional electric windows.

Car belonged to Jack Thompson who owned multiple dealerships, restaurants, etc. Told me at a show 20 years ago he was buying a coupe to track. As far as I know tracking never happened. Would show up in BMW showroom and up for sale periodically. Jack died of Covid, I believe his son is the seller.

I am puzzled why Thompson Restorations with a multi-million dollar collection in house, including a CSL, would put a car in this condition on BaT. Stalled at $52,000 last time, appears to have a reserve. Interesting.

This is what I know. Please correct he if I am wrong.

this resembles a car i was semi familiar with, from Portland, Oregon, in the early 2010s. i haven't seen many black e9s, and i don't know if it is the same car, but hopefully someone will give it the love it deserves, regardless.
