Just noticed this after taking a look back at the closed 74 csi sale on fleabay. This looks like a nice car. In the registry. Love the black/black and would take this over the csi any day if it's as nice as it looks with one original owner and that mileage. Even the auto box is no drawback here.

Everything looks appealing online, but if the facts are true here, I would go look if I were "looking." No affiliation etc.

$25,000 was the price when I spoke with him.. Color change was originally SILVER

I think that around $23,000-25,000 is the price he is asking on other sites... The car was a color change and it was originally Silver....

He has it advertised on other sites at a lot more... $25,000

I first saw the car a few weeks ago and he was firm at around $25,000. It is advertised at other sites for a lot more money... I think that ebay is a starting point for offers...

The car is ok... But there are issues for $22,000...

The seller says he has offers of $21,000 but he has passed on those offers because he wants more money!

UNMOLESTED IMPECCABLE ORIGINAL CONDITION is what the seller wrote in the listing...

The car was originally Silver does that fit the sellers "Unmolested/Original" description? Some people may not care about the color change from Silver to Black but it is definitely worth noting... He also cannot document the 53,000 "original" miles and he is not the "Original Owner"it was his wifes cousin. The car was also in Colorado for a while...

The car looks very good from a few feet away but there are flaws in the paint and a lot of overspray on some other parts... The trunk was not painted black in some areas and you can still see a lot of Silver paint which screams color change to me. The interior is decent but with minor flaws...

Based upon the similar or even better condition cars(original color) that have taken months or longer to sell for much less ($18,500) probably not worth $22,000?... Not yet anyway... Basically solid but with a few issues...

Valuable follow-up.

It's easy to get seduced by the look of what appears to be a decent car as seen online. Unfortunately, and oddly, the typical seller won't mention salient points like color changes, lack of proof of their "one-owner" and low mileage claims and will just let caveat emptor. Or not, as the case may be.

Your account may save someone some time on this one.

The floor shot looks very nice, but just wondering if the shot of the inner fender looks like it has had bodywork or Goop applied over it?

---I have knowledge of anything related to the seller of this car, this is just a question---

What is to stop the seller from ending the auction minutes before the end if the desired selling price has not been reached?

At the end of the ebay seller's listing it says that the seller can end early if it sells locally. So, if 17.9k is the only bid, but the seller wants 25k.... oops, car is "sold locally" just before the end of the bidding.

Like I said, I don't know the seller (or anything about him/her). Just a question that popped into my head when I saw some of the earlier comments on the "no reserve" aspect of the auction/

I thought the same thing and will be watching for the last minute early end.
