FYI - Just was looking through auction results and found that Black CSL that several board members had opined was "shady". There were a few threads regarding this car over the past months.

I think the car was in California at the time (big Cibies on the front bumper, black, sketchy seller/consigner) anyone remember?

anyway, looks like it sold at auction for $110k (don't know the details such as buyer's premium or auction house, but saw it in Sports Car Market).

was the Bonham's Tiaga $120 plus any buyer's premiums?
I think somebody on this board was at the auction and gave a pretty good summary of the deal a month ago.

either way, I agree. The Tiaga CSL was much nicer.

No the black bat is staying in California, and the Taiga car went somewhere in europe. The buyers premium, taxes and export fees will probably put that car around 140-150, but the hammer was 120.

Yeah, the black CSL sold "before" if I am not mistaken, so we will see if it shows up again.

I meant the black bat. Perhaps it didn't reach the price the seller wanted, so the seller (or a friend) bought it back. Not a real sale?

I don't follow auctions, however...

Yeah, any story surrounding this black BAT is grifty. Just so we're all talking about the same car...

I think it's the one that was in the Malibu area last year. Big Cibies on the front bumper and wing in the trunk (but not installed)? Was it a Series II - I can't rememebr.

That is the car that (or at least that was the picture that appeared) was described as being sold by Sports Car Market's http://www.collectorcarpricetracker.com/ Gavel price was reported at $110,000. If it was a schill, then it's a pretty elaborate one.

WHo knows. I was just curious because of the previous marketing efforts and all the chatter about the seller/consigner.

I would rather not disclose the buyers name but it did indeed sell. It was a series 2 car, only white and silver were available in series 1 cars.
