Hello

My passenger (right side when seated) armrest is not the best condition , and the cap is really cracked and in bad shape.

Does anyone in the E9 world have a replacement armrest , or at least the cap section, for a 1972 CS with blue interior?

Interestingly the drivers side cap is black and has been replaced it would appear. So I suppose black cap would suffice if no other options out there.

I do have the new chrome top covers , just require passenger cap component or new armrests entirely.

Thanks to all for your support.

James

It's always the passenger side that breaks. The driver is typically the owner, who understands that yanking the door closed by the upper part of the handle is going to break something. Passengers, not so much.

I believe that both of those parts are being reproduced; Maximillian has the piece that is broken on your car (in black only) for $59 (p/n 51411815235 and 36) and the chrome cap for $34 (p/n 51411815255 and 56). And CoupeKing sells metal brackets that reinforce the piece that attaches the handle to the door. At $55/pr they are a little steep; you could probably fabricate some using strap stock from the hardware store and a little trial-and-error.
