Appears there were 2 versions- big logo and small logo.
Yours is in great condition.

Yours is what it is. However I do have 10 original cloths. 9 logos are identical to the one I show, but one never knows what will show up with BMW. Actually, there are two different small logos. The one I show and then there is another which is of "thicker" ink and less blank space that is not as attractive so I chose not to use it. There is a second color used in the early e24s that is mint green without a logo.

The one with a larger logo was sent to me with the oil can shown. I have no idea about its authenticity.

From the look of the cloth I would think it is real. I just went through some boxes while cleaning shelves and found some other interesting cloths that I believe were in early E24s. Mint green with both no logo and with a logo. The one without a logo was verified by a 2 owner USA 83 E24 fellow. So who knows? A few of us strongly believe tools were supplied to the dealers in bulk and ended up in the tool kits basically at a lot boys mercy and I think that explains why there is not a definitive answer as to the switch from red handled to green handled screwdrivers. I also think this applies to some strange parts discrepancies on first run of model year change parts. We have found that in some E24s causing a lot of debate.
