blue front arm rests on ebay - NMNA

Sold for.... wait for it... $401. I had a go at these up to the amount I thought was going rate but clearly did not expect this. If this is the new going rate, I am sitting on a gold mine.
 
I bid on several things; pair of chrome bumpers went cheap, others went stupid. I wanted the front seats, but my wife had the knee replacement PT lady this afternoon and plain ol forgot about the auction...$100 for the pair that didn't appear to smell...
 
un frigging believable. these things shouldn't have sold for more than 40 bucks a piece, but that would have been with all of the trim pieces. face it these came on the e3, e9 and early e24. don't remember if the e12 had them ... point is, they aren't rare.
 
Something smells foul with this. The bidding history is unrealistic. I've been learning that these are reasonably available if you look carefully and are patient. I tend to think this was a false auction result.
