Here are some photos of the original tools in Murray's coupe that he asked me to post. Only the water pump pliers were added later. The small screwdriver says "10000 V" first time I've one of those, most say dbgm or Heyco. Notice detail on handles of pliers, wrenches say Heyco. Also shown is the window motor comb.

Looks like Murray takes good care of his tools! Nice set.
 
Taking care of things--

Virtually every bit and piece in the BLUMAX has had similar care and upkeep so all parts and surfaces are in comparable condition to the tools throughout--now at 419,950 miles and remaining un-restored--albeit freshened at re-spray in 1991.

I'll post some more recent pictures soon that were taken by Helmut Werb Photo-Journalist for Bimmer and Ramp Magazines last Summer as they are excellent portrayals of the old boy.
 
Great pictures. Good reference for tool kit.

Thanks for posting. Great point of reference for locating a few of my missing tools.
