BMW 2000 CS clutch pedal will sometimes hook up

I have tried to grease the linkage above the clutch pedal but I feel that the linkage on its way to the main clutch cylinder is not working totally smooth. Sometimes the pedal will not return directly and sort of hooks up on its way back. If I step on the pedal not straight forward and instead push it a little to the left it will work again. Has anybody experienced this and has a suggestion to fix it? I assume that the clutch pedal linkage is the same on BMW 3,0 CSi and other coupes with the 6 cylinder engine.

Thanks for the nice link, I have only found a spare parts catalogue from a Germany company that has a pdf version for down loading.

I think that the piston rod (part nr 8 from the web link you directed me to) needs some sort of grease.

Soon there will be some picture of the car on my Borgward Links page

Thanks a lot!

I had the same problem on a 1800 NK. I change the flex line and it fixed the stiffness.
