Bmw 2000cs

I am buying next week, a 66 2000cs for parts. This car seems a bit to far gone to restore. I figure it will give my 9 year old and I a chance to take it apart, and restore pieces, without tearing apart my 67 2000cs. This car has US spec headlights, and a crank sunroof, that is cloth. I've never seen this option. If there are any 2000cs owners in need of parts, I may be able to assisit. I'm waiting for the Vin, so I can maybe track it down. It has an old BMWCCA sticker on the back window.

Being from right around the corner, I'm curious. Where did you find this vehicle?

I haven't tried very hard, but I haven't found any local junk yards with coupe parts.

I found the car by accident, as one of my employers asked about restoring the car, that was sitting in a friends yard. I told him he would spend $50,000 to make a $20,000 car. I offered to buy it for parts. $1500.00 plus the tow fom Maine to Ma. I should complete the deal next week. Send me your email, and I'll forward the pictures.
