It is listed as a 2800 CS and has the Veh.ID as a 2800, 2200489. Then how come the rear deck has 3.0 CS?

Same reason there are a lot of 3-series out there with M3 badges on trunk. Wishful thinking? Better question is why do they think a picture of THAT spare tire will help sell the car?
