I watched the movie "Fracture" last night with Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling. Ryan's car was a burgundy 3.0CS which was featured several times in the movie. Pretty cool idea to have his character drive it.

I just saw a disappointing use of a BMW 735 (1980s) while watching Bourne Identity. In Paris Bourne's Mini Copper is being chased by police, and first the Mini goes into the sidewalk around a white BMW 735, some seconds later the Mini goes paralllel to the Seine against traffic and the police crash the side of a white 735, and finally the Mini escapes when the last motorcycle hits a white 735 on yet another street. In slow motion you can read the license plates and it is the same car used three times... Hollywood cheapskates, no wonder the writers are striking.

I turned down an offer to have my CS appear in The Darjeeling Limited. Unfortunately the shoot was in the middle of last winter and the car was already in storage...

A friend of mine was selling her Miata in the mid nineties and was pleased that a film company bought it to use in a movie. (I was living in Oakville Ontario then).
However, the film was David Cronenberg's Crash. She was unaware of the type of movie it was and told everyone to see it. Even though I enjoyed the film, it is a bit unconventional.
