BMW 502 Barn Find

This one has been discussed here and I saw it in August at Concours d’ Lemons. It was in a frightful state and the announcer claimed it was one of only two or three in the US and worth $200K restored, not true. Dodi has a used car lot in Seaside and Carini would stop by each year to drive one of Dodi’s cars. I found this example at the event much more interesting.

A truly exceptional automobile, but the fur is not a factory color.
 
I took a handful of pictures of Lothar Schutler's 502 in Pittsburgh in 2015. Detail on the restoration was very nice. I think he sold it and it may no longer be in the states:
