BMW art cars in London

BMW are showcasing their collection of 16 art cars in London between 21st July - 6 August as part of the Olympics celebrations

Yes this looks good a box office friend at ICA told me the opening private view free drinks type thing is Friday night not sure if it's an invite thing though? East london hipsters meet E9's

With the art cars are they always roped off? Do they actually run? I presume they are never started?

Stupid questions but just wondering!!??
