Many thx for the interesting info.
It is very interesting to note that BMW Classic center in Münich is starting to sell some of the cars from their collection (I hope it's not a trend...). In the Bonhams Auction, which takes place the 11th of October in Dubai, the Chamonix 3.0 CSL (Bat serie 2 VIN 4355046) is up for sale with an estimate of 130-170 kUSD. Also a white M1 with the same estimate is for sale from the collection:

As far as I know, BMW still have two more street CSL in their collection (carb + 2275xxx version) and at least one more street M1.
I'm really curious to know the reasons behind their sale.
Because it's a car from BMW's own collection, I would not be surprised if this Bat will be sold for beyond 200 000 euro (not USD!).
Cheers
