this may be an unpopular opinion...but the grill, while headed in the right direction, is still too large.

perhaps it is an unfair criticism as the car is overall very attractive. I am partial to the smaller grills such as those found on the 8 series which also ties back to the M1. For me, just a little less and held below the hood line...
