So I found some of my old copies of the CS Register publication. This one is from April 1993. Vol 1X, No 1. There is an entry titled "Annual Member Hints". There are 85 suggestions to help guide owners and future owners on how to evaluate a Coupe before purchase, and how to care for and maintain once it is yours. Dominant recommendation is to just drive it, and often. I would say, this still applies today. I note tip number 51. Something I have always believed in when shopping for a Classic. "Buy the best BMW Coupe you can.". That is what I did. Purchased my fine example in 1988 and took until 2021 until I had to have the floors professionally restored. All good now, better than ever. I suggest that we begin another Member recommendation list of things to look for when considering purchasing a Coupe, and perhaps best tips for maintaining. What do you think? Mike

Oh, I was gonna post a pic of the Cars for Sale page from this edition, but thoughts of these cars, 30 years younger, and priced so affordably, well I thought otherwise....
