Last weekend in action at the Oldtimer Grand Prix Nurburgring. One of four CSL's in action against 3 BMW M1 procars, 3 Porsche 935 K3 and some other fast cars.
A lot of noise, speed and fun!

Performance

Actually, this car wasn't performing well. After three laps it came in at the pitlane and quit due to engine problems.
It gave me the time to take some pictures!

Cool.

I noticed it has a Denzel decal on the nose. Is it currently owned by the Denzel dealer in Austria perhaps or have some sort of history with them, anybody know?

My car was originally sold through the Denzel dealership and am curious....

Till so far I don't have the history of this car, still digging.

A friend of mine has seen this car when the bootlit was open. He noticed that the alternator was in this compartment and driven by the rear axle drive shaft. This is a common layout for these CSL's.

Denzel was a sponsor of Dieter Quester, who drove the original car which had these same decals. Alex
