I am not sure that these would fit the e9, but I just found a beautiful set of NOS rubber mats for a e3 model. Seller is very reasonable and will accept offers. I hope they find a good home!

Yes, he has a few impossible to find items, and I like a good set of OEM mats for the car that fit and look right... Nothing like the 70's and 80's...;)

No worse than some of the paved roads where I live in Bucks County, PA. Some would stop a Hummer in its tracks.

There must not be any paved roads in that country.....

You are very wrong when it comes to the quality of roads in Latvia...
I recommend going to Europe for a vacation and visiting Riga, the capital of Latvia. You will be very positively surprised...

Regards.

Lucas.

I wanna know how all those mudflaps wound up in Latvia.

Don

Despite iron curtain many western car manufacturers have had shops here and there.
Over the years and due to more and more demanding regulations coming from manufacturers or local policy most of them has been closed in 90's.
They have own stocks with many parts there.
I have been in such an place in in the beginning of the 21st century. All was there including BMW service stations, glass shelves with many BMW gadgets from 80's and 90's plus huge storage of BMW parts.
You may notice there are some NOS specific sellers (like partially W&N or "Enoz") which can gather parts from garage sales, storage clearances etc.

It is good for us there are some who have proper contacts and can deliver undeliverable (sometimes with rediculus prices, sometimes for reasonable ones).

There is still hope out there someone who is desperate in looking will be successful in his searches.

It has nothing in common to road quality or any other strange connotations but of course prejudices and harmful opinions are still deep in some. The good is these are passing by over time.

Amazing how we could deviate off topic... I am sure no one intended any offence by the reference about unpaved roads and mudflaps.... Latvia is a beautiful country with many layers as seen in the video posted by Lucas... It has always intrigued me and I hope to visit someday...

But back to the topic of finding rare parts, after all these years, I am certainly grateful that you can still find small treasures for our cars. These small details that allow you to make the finishing touches that you want; whether it is a mud flap, a rubber mat, headlamp washer or spoiler... For all you guys out there digging, thank you, for there are no such parts available here in the USA...

The unpaved roads comment was just my sarcastic sense of humor--my apologies. I have made mudflaps or bought mudflaps,AKA splashguards, for every vehicle I have owned except for the Coupe. I even have custom-cut vinyl guards on the rear fender lips of my 1972 2002.

No offense taken at all about the unpaved roads... I have always liked mud flaps, they have a good purpose of saving your undercarriage, rocker panel area and fender wells. I do have a set of front ones on my e12 despite not being sporty!
