BMW e9 upgrade

This OP is just all over the place. Random facts and desires with no basis in the reality of improving an E9. I can't even imagine steering a car on the street with those huge front tires. This is an example of someone who needs to actually use and enjoy his car before making changes. A faux racer for the street threatens to be a worse car than one modified so much. Not sure this will end well.
Yeah, odd to start with a Group 4 body kit for no technical reasoning THEN add parts to make it look right without considering the technical impact on driving.

I lowered my 635, and added very hefty sway bars and Bilstein sport shocks ab out 15 years back The car handles OK, but it rides like a truck. Nearly zero body roll, but super harsh ride. I may dial it back after I finish my Coupe project.

Yes because I’m still learning a lot about these cars, including interchangeable parts and upgrades that I’m thinking of doing. I’d like to hear opinions from experienced owners who actually know what they’re talking about and can give me a useful advice. Also, I haven’t found a lot of informations about race car wheels, but I did see a few Group 4-5 tribute projects-street legal cars, that run 10j front and 12.5j rear wheels, and it looked pretty good. Again, I’m trying to get the best from both - track car and street legal car, I’m not doing 100% factory restoration.

I’m doing Group 4 body kit because the car is not worth restoring to factory condition, but it has potential for race car tribute project, plus I like the way these cars look. And that’s exactly why I created the post, to hear experiences from you guys, so I don’t have to switch parts constantly.

If you are not going to race it hard, then I'd just go for wider wheels. Pay attention to the offset, so you don't get interference issues. I'd expect lower springs to get the proper stance. You can expect that the steering will be pretty heavy with those wide wheels.

I'd definitely change out the bushings on the suspension (especially the front sub frame), and probably update all of the steering components to avoid excessive play.

Probably worth adding camber plates so you can adjust things.
