Hi
I've just purchased a factory repair manual on CD, used from ebay. It's missing it's little installation instruction booklet and I just can't seem to get it to work properly.
If anyone could possibly copy/scan/dictate/whatever those instructions for me, I'd be most grateful!
Thanks!

wow, i'm in over my computer head! I'll have to re-read it all very carefully to try and make sense of it.
Thanks for the pointer!

Good luck in getting the repair manual CD to work in any computer over 512K of memory, virtually an impossibility. You can make it work in the old MS XP OS by limiting it's memory to 512mb. This is done by going to 'msconfig' and make the system boot up in the lesser memory capacity. I don't think this procedure can be done with the newer Vista OS, tried it few times and could not make it work.

If you have an old computer with 512K or less of memory lying around (preferably a laptop) then you can make this your dedicated "repair manual" machine.
