BMW OEM E9 Hazard switch on eBay

E9 button looks almost the same, but without text on button or roundabout.

I think what you are describing is the Euro version versus the Americanized version. Someone could correct me but when the cars came over here (even the Euro models) they replaced the hazard buttons with triangles and such with one that said "HAZARD". You see we Yanks needed the text to clue us in as to which one is the Hazard button. :)

Chicane - I think you are mis-representing this. No way a 6 lug hazard switch will plug in w/o losing the lighting circuit. This cannot be a csi hazard switch.

No mis-representing. It is a hazard switch out of a 72 CSi.

My '72 has that exact same hazard switch, and I have an extra one in the parts bin. I think they definitely a csi Hazard switch.

I think the discrepancy is that the Euro registered models may have a different looking switch (With no lettering). But whether they were an U.S. model or a Americanized Euro model they say Hazard on the button.
