Anyone have any sites for discussion groups like ours, parts suppliers and such. Looks like I'm going to pick up a very well cared for '67 up in the Monterey area from a friend. I haven't ridden a bike in 40 years, I must be crazy, but the wife didn't object as long as I sell the '69 2002 and start restoring the 1960 Ponton which has been languishing in the garage for the last 8 years.

Should be a great way to get around in your neck of the woods Chris. I will be buying a bike when the kids hit College age. 9 year count down. Probably will get a small sport touring bike.

Got it

Picked up the R50/2 In Pacific Grove this morning and trailered it back home, six hours and no traffic jams in LA. Very original but the battery is dead, I need to figure out what to do next. Here are some photos. I think I have a buyer for the `69 2002 and another interested party, we shall see.
