Not come across anyone myself. My car is in for metalwork and they are going to see if they can reskin the steel boot lid frame in aluminium whilst they are at it. They're also going to lighten the frame. Not due to be done for about 4-6 weeks but will keep you posted.
Re bonnet, my frame has been butchered, and after talking to someone locally the repair + possible skinning in aluminium would be far greater than buying a used aluminium bonnet. (i had the feeling they didn't want to do it!)
