If I remember correctly, the quick release locks are often seen on non- city pack CSLs (maybe in order to save some weight). Consulting the internal BMW documentation nr 6/1972 dated 9/8-1972, the ordinary hood locking system was a chargeable option with code 53.3
Other payable options were:
Heat resistant/protected windows (code 55.3)
Power steering (code 64.2)
Power windows rear (code 56.1)
Big tool kit in trunk (67.2)
In addition and later on, there were other payable options like:
Standard velour carpeting
Air Condition with tinted windows
Power mirrors
Power windows (front)
Power antenna
Headlight wiper
Standard CS/CSi seats
Lockable petrol filler cap
Various radios like BMW Bavaria S, Blaupunkt Bamberg etc.
The free of charge City package (code 74.3) included:
Stell front and rear bumpers
Steel doors
Standard suspension with front and rear stabilizers
For the Bat CSLs, the complete Bat-kit was free of charge like the tri-colour Motorsport stripes (Chamonix and Polaris CSLs).
Please also note that during the happy 70's, almost everything was possible to order and combine for your CSL. Like an early "Individual" approach if you had the right connections or if you were a celebrity. There were some few street CSLs specially made with variations of big wing extensions, special BBS wheels, sunroof, special set of stripes etc.
